elders sitting bundanoon

A community project happening in Bundanoon, New South Wales

In a Nutshell

A sitting of elders is an opportunity for elders to sit together and explain how it is for them being in the world at the moment. It is a listening and respecting process with the issues that evolve being followed over the two days.

Project Aims

To see how it is for the elders who are attending. To see how we can better develop an elders network in NSW and nationally.

The Nuts and Bolts

Registering with Paddy at padriac@internode.on.net and attending the two days of the sitting at Bundanoon, which is a scenic old guest house town on the Morton National Park between Sydney and Canberra

Project Outcomes

Just the successful completion of the sitting. It may be agreed that a simple summary of what transpires be published but that would be up to the participants.

Testimonials

Quite a few people have attended sittings and gatherings of elders around Australia. Paddy is a counsellor and has run workshops at his place.

Audience

Men over 55 years old interested in the concept of eldership.

Motivation

My passions are for working with men
